Limit Break Purchases Super Bowl Ad

Limit Break buys a 30-second Super Bowl commercial for a whopping $6.5 million.

Here's what we know:

  • The ad will showcase Limit Break's NFT project DigiDaigaku.

  • More than 50 million people are likely to watch the Super Bowl live on television.

  • The floor price of DigiDaigaku NFTs is 13.69 ETH (or around $18,200).

  • This news comes shortly after the company raised $200M in funding.

  • The CEO of Limit Break is stoked:

What we think:

It's pretty nuts thinking Limit Break will be paying $216k per second of airtime **gulp**.

But, following a $200M raise, they have the cash.

Following last year's ads from Coinbase and eToro, this is going to be the first NFT-focused ad brought to this mainstream of an audience.

We're looking forward to seeing how this affects the price of the collection in real time.

Upland and Gala Create an Open Metaverse

Upland and Gala Games have announced a new partnership, which consists of combining two ecosystems to open the doors to an open metaverse dubbed VOXverse.

Here's what we know:

  • Upland will have a headquarters in Gala Games' VOXverse.

  • Vox NFT owners will be able to move their ERC-721 tokens from Vox to the Upland ecosystem.

  • VOXverse will be "open" - even YOU can join!

What we think:

We are buzzed to see that Upland and Gala Games have joined forces to expand their gaming experiences on both ecosystems.

Little deets are yet to be revealed. But we hope Gala Music is a part of this partnership and will be dropping some funky tunes! ๐ŸŽ‰

Blockchain Gaming is on the Rise

DappRadarโ€™s latest gaming report for Q3 reveals that blockchain games are powering the Web3 revolution.

Likeโ€ฆitโ€™s now literally half of all blockchain activity.

Here's what we know:

  • Gaming accounts for more than 48% of all blockchain activity in Q3.

  • The Move2Earn genre is a significant part of this.

  • Despite low investment figures last month, the number of wallets in the blockchain gaming includes rose by 8% (912k) month-over-month.

  • The most used dApp in September is Gameta, with more than 1.33 million unique wallets.

What we think:

Honestly, we're pretty surprised by this.

We love ignoring our partners for half the evening to game on the blockchain, and we are sure we're not the only ones. But, 48% feels...significant.

Is Web3 gaming going to be what powers the next bull run?
