Fewocious Teases Upcoming NFT Drop ‘Fewos’

NFT artist Fewocious reveals the upcoming launch of his new digital art collection, "Fewos," comprising 20,000 profile-picture NFTs to be minted in August.

• The new NFTs, described as characters in Fewocious’ digital universe, "Fewoworld," will come in three distinct artistic species – Frankenstein, Misunderstood, and Humanoid – each with unique traits.

• Every detail in the Fewos collection is hand-drawn by Fewocious and later converted into 3D art, but pricing for the NFTs has yet to be disclosed.

• A presale for the 'Fewos' collection will be available to holders of Fewocious’ prior Paint Drop collection and other Fewocious digital art tokens ahead of a broader public sale later this summer.

• Each Fewo NFT will be equipped with an ERC-6551 to become a digital wallet. The wallet can then claim a mint pass for FewoFashion, a series of digital accessories and wearables.

Sotheby’s Second NFT Auction Spotlights Dmitri Cherniak and Tyler Hobbs

Sotheby's organizes a second NFT auction featuring notable works such as Dmitri Cherniak's Ringers #879, known as “The Goose”, and Tyler Hobbs' Fidenza #216.

• Sotheby’s second NFT auction will take place in New York on June 15, showcasing 37 pieces from generative artists.

• This sale is the largest live auction of digital art ever.

• These collectible items were curated to showcase the generative art genre and highlight well-known generative artists and the broader community of artists exploring algorithm-based art.

• The key highlight from the auction includes Dmitri Cherniak's Ringers #879, purchased by 3AC co-founders Su Zhu and Kyle Davies in 2021 for approximately $5.8 million worth of ETH.

• Other notable artworks feature Tyler Hobbs and Jeff Davis.

Particle Builds Fractionalized NFTs for H.R. Giger Sculpture

Particle offers fractionalized ownership of H.R. Giger's sculpture ‘Necronom/Alien III, 2005’ through NFTs — representing a 1/500 stake!

• H.R. Giger's sculpture "Necronom/Alien III, 2005", edition #1 of six, is made of steel and polyester resin, measuring over seven feet long and three feet tall, valued at over $240,000.

• NFT "particles" representing half a million dollars will be sold for $1,000 each from June 16.

• Alien particle holders can vote on selling the physical sculpture if an offer is received.

• The sculpture will be showcased at NFC Lisbon, the H.R. Giger Museum, Hluboká Castle in Prague, Art Basel, and a Paris venue.

• Particle previously tokenized Banksy's "Love is in the Air" painting and offers discounted Alien particles to its owners.
