Polygon Rockets as Pokémon NFT Cards Ignite Trading Frenzy
Polygon (MATIC) saw a surge owing to Pokémon NFT card pack sales on Courtyard.io, boosting trading activity on the blockchain network as users opened their newly acquired packs on-chain.
Selling this BEAUTY of a card was not easy, and I mean personally not logistically.
Logistically, selling it with through @Courtyard_NFT was a breeze, the physical stored in a @Brinks vault and ownership transferred instantly to the buyer. Fast, efficient and easy 🔥

Users purchased ‘Mystery Boxes’ containing various Pokémon-themed virtual cards, with the thrill of discovering them through ‘Pack Rips’.
All 175 Pokémon Cards were quickly claimed in a two-phase sale facilitated by Courtyard.io and backed by trusted brands like Brinks, MoonPay and VaynerFund.
The Pokémon card packs were available for just $5.00, offering a chance to obtain valuable cards, including PSA9-graded ones from 2000, worth about $500.
Following the rapid sell-out of these cards, unopened 2000 Base Set booster boxes now command prices exceeding a mighty $15,000.
A reason behind the hype includes the digital packs offering liquidity benefits compared to the physical booster boxes.
Bored Ape Yacht Club and BAPE Tease Streetwear Collaboration
The Bored Ape Yacht Club surprises the crypto world yet again. This time around, through a trendy collaboration with the iconic Japanese streetwear brand BAPE.
