BlockFi Files for Bankruptcy

Will another Web3 company bite the dust following the FTX catastrophe?

Here's what we know:

• Crypto firm BlockFi filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the wake of FTX’s bankruptcy.

• In the filing, BlockFi indicates it has more than 100,00 creditors, with assets and liabilities ranging from $1 billion to $10 billion.

• The document also states that the cryptocurrency lender an outstanding loan of $275 million to FTX.

• This news marks the latest regarding crypto bankruptcies, following FTX, Voyager and Celsius.

• Many NFTs, including Bored Apes, also took a turn for the worst.
