After a (what felt like) never-ending bear market, cryptocurrency is finally on the rise. Bitcoin (BTC) broke through the $21k mark yesterday – a considerable price movement from a low of $16k at the beginning of the year.

Here's what we know:

• Bitcoin has surged by 24% in just one week.

• Last week, the cryptocurrency's market cap was hovering around the $17k mark.

• Ethereum (ETH-USD) is also up 20% – a two-month high – at $1,564.

• Solana (SOL-USD) represents the most considerable rise of 62%, hitting $23.30.

• In total (yesterday), the market capitalization stood at $1.02tn – an increase of 1.2% in 24 hours.

• Reasons for the surge may include US inflation cooling down and a series of short-positioned liquidations.

Azuki Launches Community-Focused Metaverse City

Azuki's community – best known for its tight-knit members – just became all the more appealing.

The NFT collectibles have opened up an entirely digital world for all of its NFT holders to enjoy.

Here's what we know:

• Azuki has launched a metaverse space dubbed Hilumia to celebrate its year anniversary.

• The virtual world features numerous locations: Slowpoke's Toy Haven, Ember Square, Holden Skate Park, and Garden Express.

• Each location consists of a unique experience with different music and sound effects.

• Following this, Azuki has risen by 31% over the past 30 days, with BEANZ increasing by 102% over the same period.

ESPN World Salsa Championships Shimmy Into NFTs

To celebrate its 15th anniversary on January 12, 2023, the ESPN World Salsa Championships launched an NFT collection.

Here's what we know:

• The NFTs pay respect to all participant's since back in 2005.

• Featuring art and videos, the digital assets showcase different Salsa styles the competition has witnessed over the years.

• All profits made from the NFT sales will be shared with the dancers.

• Players can design and customize their own drones before competing on the virtual race track consisting of a vibrant landscape and hyper-realistic visuals.

• Hurdles will need to be jumped and giant fan blades must be dodged for a chance to win the trance.

• Once beating all obstacles and passing the finish line, only then can participants be crowned winner.
