FTX SBF FINALLY GOES DOWN!
Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of one of the world's largest crypto exchanges (and the guy everyone is talking about), was finally arrested in the Bahamas on Monday following FTX's bankruptcy. .
Interestingly, the charges from the exchange collapse wasn't as crypto-related as you may assume. Phew!
Here's what we know:
SBF is being charged with numerous charges - most of which are not crypto-related.
Rather, the CEO is potentially being charged with eight counts related to wire fraud and money laundering.
If convicted of all eight counts, SBF will likely die behind bars as he serves up to 115 years in prison.
Despite many crypto companies and investors taking a beating following the bankruptcy, it's time to gain faith back in the community and move on.
Let's not allow one person's mistakes to ruin such a beautiful thing.
