Ubisoft Debuts Free 75K Champions Tactics NFT Mint

Ubisoft is launching a free mint of 75K champion figurines for ‘Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles,’ exclusively on the Oasys network.

  • Holders of the ‘Warlords’ PFP NFTs for early access to mint up to five champion NFTs starting yesterday, showcasing an advantage for existing Ubisoft NFT holders.

  • General users without Warlords NFTs can mint their free champion NFTs starting Thursday, July 18. They need a Ubisoft account and an Oasys wallet, and they must be at least 18 years old.

  • The mint is entirely free with no gas fees, aiming to attract a broad user base and remove barriers typically associated with NFT minting.

  • Ubisoft is partnering with Aleph.im to ensure a fair and decentralized minting process, using advanced verifiable random functions to manage the distribution of the NFTs.

Trump's NFTs Hit New Heights After Assassination Attempt

Following a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the floor price of his Polygon-based Digital Trading Cards surged to 933 $MATIC, equivalent to approximately $502.

  • The shooting incident, which occurred during a campaign rally, led to a significant rise in the value of these NFTs, which were trading at about $228 just days before.

  • Not only did the event affect NFT prices, but it also spurred a broader crypto market reaction, with increases in Bitcoin value and Trump-related meme coins.

  • Trump's NFTs are known for depicting him in various dramatic settings and initially offered buyers potential perks, including personal meet-and-greets.

  • Despite the recent spike in their prices, Trump's NFTs have yet to reach their peak historical value of 1,100 MATIC (around $769), recorded in February 2023.

Puffverse Set to Launch Puff Astronaut NFTs on Ronin

Puffverse is gearing up to launch its Puff Astronaut NFT mint event on July 18, starting at 10:00 AM (UTC) on the Ronin blockchain platform, featuring 3K limited-edition in-game avatars.

  • Puffverse is a “Disney-like" gaming ecosystem with multiple games where players can use their NFTs.

  • Key games include PuffGo, a multiplayer royale party game, and PuffSim, a simulation game with P2E mechanics.

  • Puff Astronaut NFT owners will enjoy various perks within the Puffverse ecosystem, including IGO Points exchangeable for $PUFF tokens, and enhanced experience points in PuffSim Adventures.

  • The mint will occur in two phases: an allowlist round for early supporters and a public sale round, offering both selected Puff holders and the general community a chance to participate.

  • To join the mint, participants need to connect their Ronin Wallet via the Mavis Launchpad. Pricing is set at 20 $RON for the allowlist round and 25 $RON for the public sale.
