Rumble Kong League, an NFT basketball game on Avalanche, teams up with Gatorade. Players can unlock rare skins, earn rewards, and sign up for the upcoming mobile game.

• Rumble Kong League will feature a ‘G-Machine’ in-game that dispenses digital Gatorade-themed collectibles.

• What’s more, players can earn ‘G-Coins’ by completing quests, which are used to unlock digital collectibles and wearables.

• All Gatorade-infused features are available ahead of the game’s debut on iOS and Android this summer.

Portal to Debut Pixelmon's Next Web3 Games

Portal, a leading Web3 gaming publisher, announces the addition of Pixelmon—which it dubs “one of Web3’s most iconic IPs”—to its portfolio.

• Portal introduces a coin, platform, and wallet to enhance interoperability and user experiences in the blockchain gaming landscape. 

• Pixelmon, which pioneers decentralized IP through its MON protocol, will release multiple games on Portal in 2024 and 2025. 

• To amplify their reach and accessibility, all new Pixelmon games will be showcased on the Portal Discovery Platform.

• Notably, Pixelmon’s “Season 0” game, PixelPals, ended yesterday with over 500K players.

Orange Cap to Spotlight Pudgy Penguins in TCG

OverpassIP and Orange Cap Games announce a new third-party licensing deal to feature 200 Pudgy Penguins in an upcoming trading card game (TCG).

• Pudgy Penguin holders got the opportunity to submit their characters to be included in the game.

• However, following high demand, this opportunity quickly came to a close.

• Orange Cap’s integration of Pudgy Penguins into its TCG will introduce the NFT characters to a new audience.

• Other innovative IP licensing opportunities are anticipated.
