Puffverse Shifts from BNB Chain to Ronin

Puffverse—a Disney-like metaverse—is moving its NFT collections from Binance's BNB Chain to Ethereum's Ronin network to expand accessibility after a successful $3 million funding round.

  • Animoca Brands led the funding round, with other significant investors like Sky Mavis, Spartan Group, and HashKey Capital joining in.

  • Puffverse’s first title on Ronin, PuffGo, is a Play-to-Earn party game resembling ‘Fall Guys’, featuring user-generated content and plans for AI tools to craft game maps.

  • To facilitate the transition, Puffverse will take a snapshot of NFT holders on the BNB Chain and then airdrop the Ronin version of those assets.

  • The project is also set to launch a new PUFF token and NFT collection on Ronin this year.

Cardano Founder Debuts First Game on GalaGames

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has launched RFLXT's first game, ‘Voyager: Ascension’, on GalaGames.

  • Despite Cardano’s virtual entertainment features, RFLXT chose GalaGames because of its interoperability.

  • Voyager: Ascension is a reworked version of the 2018 sci-fi shooter Overload and is now free to play on GalaGames.

  • The collaboration with GalaGames shows both companies’ shared interest in exploring blockchain’s potential in the gaming world.

  • RFLXT also plans to introduce a platform featuring ‘Digital Doubles’ technology, an AI product that allows influencers and streamers to integrate their avatars into gaming environments.

NFT Card Game ‘The Lost Glitches’ Joins Xai

The Xai Foundation is collaborating with Mimunga and Honig Studios to bring ‘The Lost Glitches’—an Ethereum NFT card game—to the Xai layer-3 network, built on Arbitrum.

  • The Lost Glitches uses NFTs for its card game, letting players trade unique and limited cards, much like Parallel and Gods Unchained.

  • Already, the game has released NFT collections and a LOST token on Ethereum's mainnet, plus expansion packs on Immutable X, before joining Xai.

  • Xai, a layer-3 network launched this year, focuses on gaming and offers features like account abstraction to streamline crypto interactions and zero gas fees for players.
