OrdinalsBot Inscribes ‘Largest File Ever’ on Bitcoin

A new record was set by OrdinalsBot with a 3.969 megabyte inscription of a detailed image from ‘Declaration of Independence in Cyberspace’ by Logos Network.

  • The file, primarily composed of an enlarged image to establish a size record, contains minimal actual text content—approximately two kilobytes.

  • With the SegWit update, Bitcoin's blockchain capacity now supports up to 4MB per block, a limit that this record inscription nearly reaches.

  • Recent size record updates for Bitcoin Ordinals have shown only minor increases, indicating that the maximum capacity of the blockchain is close to being reached.

  • OrdinalsBot, known for inscribing a variety of content including music and large documents, has been involved in eight of the top ten largest files ever inscribed on Bitcoin’s blockchain.
