Former BAYC creative director Jeff Nicholas has left Yuga Labs to join Meta's Reality Labs, focusing on virtual reality entertainment experiences.

  • This position marks Nicholas’ first entry into a Big Tech company. Meta is currently ranked as the seventh most valuable company globally by market capitalization.

  • In his new role, he will lead complex development projects and guide Meta’s slate of social and interactive content, which includes music, comedy, sports, and film/TV.

ARC, an NFT-gated community, successfully raised $4.5M to establish a blockchain version of Y Combinator, supporting Web3 brands in Asia.

  • 163 of ARC’s members contributed to the fund (showing strong community backing) alongside venture capital firm Arcane Group.

  • Modeled after Y Combinator, the Singapore-based ARC plans to use these funds to incubate new Web3 projects, providing funding, go-to-market strategies, and project development support.

  • Additionally, ARC aims to enhance its ecosystem by forming strategic partnerships and streamlining the process from concept to market launch.

  • The initiative underscores a community-driven investment strategy, where projects benefit from the collective support and resources of the ARC community.
