NFT Market Surges: CryptoPunk Sells for Nearly $1.5M

2023 is looking to be a hot year for NFTs. Data from DappRadar recently found that NFT sales surged to $945M last month. 

This month also appears promising for the industry. Some NFTs are selling for six figures alone — one of which is CryptoPunk #5066, which sold for a whopping 857 ETH (almost $1.5M at the time!). 

Here's What We Know: 

• CryptoPunk #5066 was originally owned by NFT Whale, Kevin Rose — the co-founder of Moonbirds' Proof company. 

• The buyer recently acquiring CryptoPunk #5066 for $1.5M currently remains anonymous.

• BAYC also scored an impressive 800 ETH sale this week from Bored Ape Yacht Club #7090.

• Although 2023 has just begun, there's plenty more where this is coming from!

Cool Cats First Journey 'Fractures' Starts Today 

Cools Cats' have been on a feline frenzy recently, unleashing its new logo and strategic shift and partnering with Holagram Labs to develop 3D avatars.
