After the Game of Thrones-esque absolute thunderclap they gave FTX, Binance is now working with helping Cristiano Ronaldo to launch an NFT collection.

The series launches today.

Here's what we know: 

  • Each NFT showcases iconic moments of Ronaldo's life, from career-defining goals to childhood moments in Portugal.

  • The collection of digital assets has four rarity levels: Super Rare (SR), Super Super Rare (SSR), Rare (R) and Normal (N).

  • Prices of the assets vary from 77 BUSD to 10,000 BUSD depending on the rarity levels.

  • You can purchase these beauties on the Binance marketplace on November 18 (9am UTC).

Yakoa Raises $4.8M to Detect NFT Fraud 

Sick of seeing people copy the artwork of NFTs and claim the artwork as their own? Yakoa NFT startup recently raised $4.8M to build tools for fighting intellectual property fraud in Web3. 

Here's what we know: 

  • Yakoa's tools detect copies or infringement probabilities on original NFTs.

  • The tools have the features to notify platforms, brands and creators of these fraudulent activities.

  • The startup's roadmap includes expansion to nearly every blockchain.

  • Collab+Currency, Volt Capital, Brevan Howard Digital, Data Community Fund, Alliance DAO, Uniswap Labs Ventures, Orange DAO, Time Zero Capital AND Sunset Ventures led the funding round.

Sony PlayStation Gets Its NFT Game On 

Sony's new patent will allow gamers to own unique in-game assets and collectibles from celebrities, activities, esports winners and more. 

Here's what we know:

  • Sony applied fora patent in 2021 to track NFTs in video games using blockchain technology.

  • The patent for using a blockchain to record digital media assets—including gameplay, video clips and metadata—was finally made early this week (November 10).

  • Xbox and Microsoft are also showing interest in Web3 for the near future.

  • Following the limitless use cases of blockchain technology, it's a no brainer.
