Bored Apes Uncover Mega Mutant Hounds NFTs

Yesterday, the Mutant Hounds NFT project unveiled an exhilarating promotional video featuring two Bored Apes embarking on an expedition to the Otherside to discover a fresh Mega Mutant Hound.

Here's What We Know: 

  • Mutant Hounds NFT project recently released a promotional video that features two Bored Apes on the hunt for the a Mega Mutant Hound.

  • BAYC member RidazLP created the video, featuring a 6-level underground Mutant Hounds lair designed by graphical artist Jon McTavish.

  • Mutant Hounds are digital assets which have a similar aesthetic to Yuga's Mutant Ape Yacht Club.

  • Those interested in a Mutant Hound must first buy a Mutant Hound Collar and burn it before being able to acquire one.

  • This video is a fantastic way to reveal new characters, Sam and Havok, to the ecosystem.

  • This video reminded us of playing Donkey Kong on N64...and that got us kinda hyped.

Starbucks Odyssey NFTs Sold Out in 18 Mins! 

Starbucks is brewing yet another trend. But, this time, on the blockchain. As a result, it's latest collection of NFTs sold out in just eighteen minutes. 

Here's What We Know: 

  • Starbucks recently served up its "Siren Collection" NFTs – 2,000 digital assets from the Odyssey Stamp Series.

  • Members of Odyssey were recently able to purchase two Stamps for $100 each by credit card or by connecting their MetaMask wallet.

  • Following high demand, the official marketplace for buying these assets, Nifty Gateway, crashed.

  • Once it was up and running as usual, the entire collection sold out in just eighteen minutes.

  • Buyers took to other secondary marketplaces to sell the digital assets shortly afterward, with one Siren alone being acquired for $1.7k.

Beatport and Polkadot to Launch Web3 Music Platform

Beatport and Polkadot are joining forces to bring the beats of electronic music to Web3.  

Here's What We Know: 

  • Beatport and Polkadot team up to launch Beatport.io, a digital collectible marketplace bringing electronic music culture to Web3.

  • The platform will enable record labels and artists to create and sell NFTs to generate greater fan engagement.

  • The NFTs will be distributed via Aventus, a blockchain built on Polkadot that helps established enterprises deliver Web3 use cases, and will provide early access to tracks, discounted tickets, and access to global events and interactive experiences.

  • Beatport and Polkadot will also collaborate on 10 major events over the next 18 months, celebrating the launch of a new NFT collection accessible via Polkadot-integrated wallets.
