Not much movement on the sentiment meter. That said, there are still some big sales popping off here and there. Pretty interesting market honestly.

95% of retail has gone away but the big believers (and big spenders) don't seem deterred.

According to Google Trends, NFT interest is at about 10% of its all-time high earlier this year.

Ok. Let's dive into some interesting headlines this week:

RTFKT Teases New Project: Animus

Last week, Nike-owned RTFKT posted a video on Twitter to tease consumers about its new project, "Project Animus". The video showcased an avatar from the RTFKT universe walking with a creature that looks like an Otherside Kodas, but little information about the project was revealed.

Here's what we know:

• Project Animus is to launch in early 2023.

• There will be an Egg Drop for Clone X holders in November 2022.

• RTFKT is allowing a select number of newcomers to join its community.

Check out the teaser video. Not many details here but looks pretty dope and well-produced.

What we think:

We love the trend of NFT projects teasing new projects the way video games have in recent years.

Although teasing can be a little frustrating, we don't blame RTFKT at all. Waiting for some more info before we decide if this is cool or not.

Project Animus will be super cool if it includes Otherside Kodas.

Bored Ape Yacht Club Presents Community Council

For the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) community to grow, BAYC has made a new community council of Ape holders with a track record of positively contributing to the club since the beginning.

Here's what we know:

• So far, there are seven council members.

• The council will represent the club as a whole and provide new ideas and perspectives.

• Members of the council include Josh Ong, SeraStargirl, Laura Rod, 0xEthan, 0xWave, Negi and Peter Fang.

• The creators of BAYC, Yuga Labs, are also working on ways to better the communities of its other crypto projects, CryptoPunks, Meebits and Otherside.

What we think:

Despite the SEC launching an investigation into BAYC (which is basically waging soft war against the entire concept of NFTs..but that's a whole 'nother thing) these guys are chugging along.

BAYC has always been a source of innovation and as far as we know, Yuga is the first team to integrate this type of council.

We're sure more will follow.

Cool Cats and Animoca Brands are working together to create new and exciting gaming experiences.

Here's what we know:

• Cool Cats revealed its partnering with GAMEE, one of Animoca Brands' subsidiaries.

• This comes right after Cool Cats received strategic funding from Animoca Brands

• Together, both companies aim to create a virtual casual gaming space to connect players, brands and games creators.

• To celebrate this new partnership, Cool Cats have been giving away NFT claims, raffles and giveaways to community members.

What we think:

We have no doubt that Cool Cats is going to come in tops from this partnership. Animoca brands can help the company deepen its gaming expertise and open new immersive experiences.

Additionally, the Animoca empire grows bigger by the week. Congrats, you guys are now the Berkshire Hathaway of Web3.
