• Gaúcho didn't show up in Congress twice to discuss his possible link to a pyramid scheme connected to his company.

• Congress can force people to testify; not showing up can lead to fines and police getting involved to ensure they appear.

• The investigation is about ‘18kRonaldinho’ being said to make clients more than 2% profit daily from cryptocurrency investing. Because of this, the company is being sued for $61 million.

• Gaúcho's defenders say he's a victim, claiming he was made an 'ambassador' for the company without permission.
