Magic Eden and Yuga Labs Finally Debut ETH Marketplace

On Tuesday, Magic Eden — in collaboration with Yuga Labs — launched its highly anticipated creator-focused Ethereum platform.

  • The ETH marketplace is offering reduced royalty rates for the first 69 days post-launch and a Mint-to-Earn program with a 50% Diamond Bonus for Yuga collections.

  • Additionally, 500 digital collectibles will be distributed to users, generating the highest royalty fees for creators in the first month.

  • Diamonds will also be earned and distributed to minters of chosen Ethereum projects on the Launchpad.

Musée d’Orsay Initiates NFT Auction for On-Chain Exhibit

Today, Musée d’Orsay unveils its inaugural NFT collection, 'The Convergence of Breath’, alongside its digital-themed exhibition 'Le Code d’Orsay’.

  • Created by artists Agoria and Johan Lescure, the collection comprises five unique NFTs minted on the Tezos blockchain.

  • Museum attendees can mint these NFTs once scanning a QR code from the 'Sigma Lumina' sculpture with their mobile phones.

  • The Convergence of Breath NFTs are also on Objkt.One during the Le Code d’Orsay exhibition until March 10.

Solana NFT Market Surpasses $5B in Sales, Sets New Record

Solana NFTs have achieved a new milestone with over $5 billion in all-time sales volume as of February 23, as per CryptoSlam.

  • Solana NFTs rebounded from a four-month downturn in October 2023, with sales jumping 192% to $82 million.

  • December 2023 then saw Solana NFT sales hit $365 million, marking the platform's second-highest monthly total.

  • The close of 2023 highlighted ongoing expansion and trust in the Solana NFT market, leading the blockchain network to reach its new benchmark.

  • Surpassingly, approximately 43 million NFT transactions have now been recorded on the entirety of the blockchain.
