OpenSea Launches New Immersive Strategy 'OpenSea Drops'

OpenSea has launched a new and exciting immersive strategy that benefits NFT curators.

Thanks to OpenSea Drops, the creators of digital assets can now:

  • Quickly produce and sell their digital assets on OpenSea

  • Launch their collections of NFTs on customizable and dedicated drop pages on OpenSea's homepage

  • Add a project description, minting schedule and a countdown clock on the OpenSea drop page, next to their NFT collection

  • Customize the landing page of their OpenSea storefront to entice more buyers

SeaDrop, a new safe open source smart contract that will streamline the drop process and spare producers the time and technical difficulties involved in developing unique smart contracts, will also be available to OpenSea Drops.

Universal Studios Hosts Halloween-Themed NFT Scavenger Hunts

Universal Studio theme parks in Florida and California have added NFTs to their list of attractions this Halloween

  • Moonpay and Universal Studios have launched an NFT-based treasure hunt across two theme parks

  • Moonpay will launch 7 million NFTs claimable at Universal Studios Florida and Hollywood as part of the Halloween Horror Nights event

  • Park guests must scan 7 QR codes found across the theme parks to claim these NFTs

This Halloween-themed event will run from September 15 to October 31—mark your calendar!

What we think: NFT scavenger hunts sound awesome! We think this will be a new trend as we have just seen our friends over at Versify host a web-based scavenger hunt for their upcoming Product Hunt launch (go check them out btw)
