The Digital Chamber Calls on Lawmakers to Not Classify NFTs as Securities
The Digital Chamber has urged lawmakers to classify certain NFTs as consumer products, not securities, to exempt them from federal securities regulations and SEC oversight.
The @SECGov’s overreach is putting the livelihoods of NFT creators and communities at risk. NFTs are primarily consumer goods—not securities. We need Congress to take action now and protect innovation, creators, and consumer rights.

In response to the SEC's increased NFT scrutiny, the Digital Chamber argues that NFTs are primarily consumer goods meant for use and community engagement—not financial products or investment vehicles.
The SEC's recent actions (including a Wells Notice to OpenSea) highlights regulatory uncertainty in the NFT space.
Digital Chamber emphasizes the need for legislative action to protect NFT creators and the broader digital economy.
Instances such as DraftKings and Dapper Labs facing legal challenges underscore the ongoing debate and legal ambiguity around classifying NFTs as securities in the U.S. legal system.
Match Addresses NFT Challenges via Its SocialFi Platform
SocialFi platform Match introduces an innovative 'open-cry' NFT auction model to counter speculative concerns within the NFT sector and foster sustainable growth.
Match enhances NFT utility through a broad ecosystem that promotes rewarding social interactions and deep user engagement.
The platform transforms NFTs into 'mining rigs' for $RFG tokens, blending immediate incentives with long-term investment opportunities through active participation.
Integrating AI and blind bidding ensures equitable access to NFTs, adding a layer of unpredictability to the auction process.
It also employs a randomized pricing algorithm and a blind boxing system for NFTs, making auctions more engaging and ensuring fair distribution.
